In 2010 we are raising funds for Jeans for Genes whose work helps children with genetic disorders.

Robert and Catherine the founders of "Just a walk to the beach" son was diagnosed with a Primary Immune disorder at the age of 3 months. At 18 months, William underwent a life saving Bone Marrow Transplant. William's condition, called Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome is still being researched with the hope of a cure less invasive than a Bone Marrow Transplant. The PIA a founding charity of Jeans for Genes are funding research into Gene Therapy to help boys like William look forward to a longer life.

Their son, William and the remarkable people in their lives were the inspiration for Just a walk to the Beach.
